Inspired by our artist client’s own eclectic art and vast collection, as well as her desire for flexible furnishing arrangements, we created a space that feels more collected and layered than strictly decorated. As contrast to the traditional architecture of the apartment, we infused the space with her collection of global textiles and furnishings and incorporated some custom elements to accommodate her needs. The clean, gallery-like aesthetic meant that we could add playful elements, like the Beverly Hills Hotel wallpaper inspired by her time in Los Angeles and the meditation space with a Moroccan carpet.
